We had a break in the clouds yesterday, but the seeing was just fair. I was did manage to capture Europa entering Jupiter’s shadow, but not with the resolution that I was hoping for.
Here is Jupiter with Europa to the upper right, just before this icy moon began to slip into Jupiter’s shadow.
And an animation of the moon slipping into the shadow.
