The excellent seeing that was predicted for this morning never arrived, so most of the evening was spent watching and waiting. At least the weather was excellent
We had a few, very brief moments of very good seeing spread throughout the session. The best was toward the end of the session, when this was taken. This is the first processed image, so I’m hoping there may be a some better ones.
I’d say the seeing was good to very good at the time this was taken, although Jupiter’s altitude had dropped to about 47 degrees.

And one more from about an hour earlier. Although this image suggests fairly good seeing, I scrambled to start recording and obtained perhaps the best red channel I’ve ever captured. By the middle of the green channel the seeing was once again poor. I stopped the blue channel early because the seeing had gotten so bad. That’s what the night was like last night
